Each week, well take a look at some top performers from the CFL, with an eye to looking ahead to some matchups that could be favourable for TSN Fantasy Football, CFL Edition, presented by Joseph Abboud. Cheap Air Max 95 Wholesale . Here are some of the best from Week Seven and players to watch for Week Eight: TOP PERFORMERS Bo Levi Mitchell, QB, Calgary (26-for-36, 289 YDS, 3 TD, 1 INT vs. Ottawa) - Mitchell ranks fourth in the league in passing yards this season, but is tied for the lead with 11 touchdowns and has thrown only two interceptions, giving him the highest QB Rating among CFL starters. He took advantage against the expansion Redblacks in Week Seven, completing a season-high 72.2% of his passes in a 38-17 Stampeders rout. Kendial Lawrence, RB, Edmonton (123 YDS, 1 TD, 13 touches at Montreal) - A smaller, speedy back out of Missouri, Lawrence is trying to break into the Eskimos lineup and took advantage of the opportunity presented against the Alouettes when John White (who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on seven carries) suffered a finger injury. Lawrence was effective both on the ground and in the passing game, hauling in a 35-yard touchdown pass to get the Esks rolling early in the first quarter against Montreal. Marquay McDaniel, WR, Calgary (9 REC, 117 YDS, 1 TD vs. Ottawa) - Someone has to benefit from Mitchells passing productivity and it might as well be McDaniel, who had his first 100-yard receiving game since Week 14 last season. The veteran CFLer had a career-high 1047 yards and eight touchdowns last season, and hes not quite on pace for that yardage this year, but McDaniel is ninth in the league with 308 yards receiving, one yard ahead of teammate Jeff Fuller. PLAYERS TO WATCH IN WEEK EIGHT Since the Toronto Argonauts play twice in Week Eight, Tuesday against Winnipeg and Sunday against B.C., the logical choices to focus on for this week wear the Double Blue. Ricky Ray, QB, Toronto - Hes dealing with a depleted receiving corps, but Ray still ranks third in the league with 1687 passing yards and has the leagues second-best QB Rating (96.0) behind Mitchell. Rays productivity has dipped in the past couple games, at least in part because top receiver Chad Owens is out of the lineup, but two home games for Ray ought to provide more than enough production this week. Maurice Mann, WR, Toronto - Injuries open up opportunities. Thats standard football procedure, and its given Mann -- who didnt play last season -- another chance. As much as his game had declined, putting up a total of 57 catches for 624 yards in 2011 and 2012, Mann has adjusted quickly to rejoining the Argonauts, catching 11 passes for 137 yards in two games. Jerome Messam, RB, Saskatchewan - The latest in the line of ever-changing Roughriders runners, Messam rumbled for 126 yards on 19 carries at Winnipeg last week and should find an appealing matchup with the opportunity to face a Montreal team that has the leagues worst run defence, allowing 115.8 yards per game on the ground. That Messam played for the Alouettes last season should only enhance his motivation for another big game. The 20-year-old overager has appeared in 35 games for the Ontario Hockey Leagues Erie Otters this season, scoring 41 goals and adding 27 assists with a plus-28 rating. http://www.airmax95wholesale.com/ . Tony Parker had 33 points and nine assists and San Antonio never trailed in a resounding 116-92 victory over Portland, bullying the younger Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals.TSN Hockey Insiders Pierre LeBrun and Darren Dreger gathered for the latest installment of Insider Trading and the topics discussed were the current trade market, the possibility of Martin Brodeur wiaving his no-trade clause trade and sanctions for future goalie fights. There are roughly four months until TradeCentre but a lot of teams already have instant needs that they want to fill sooner rather than later. Whats the talk? Dreger: Thats primarily because of injuries around the NHL and interest will often spark this type of dialogue between general managers. At the moment, the buyers appear to outnumber the sellers but there are a number of teams who are looking to fill specific needs. The Toronto Maple Leafs are still in the market for a centre. The Edmonton Oilers need a lot of things, among them at the top of the list are defencemen and goaltending. The Winnipeg Jets would like to add a power forward but theyd also look at doing something defensively. The Anaheim Ducks are looking to add a puck-moving defenceman and the Carolina Hurricanes likewise. The Florida Panthers, despite the talk that GM Dale Tallon is looking to do a full renovation or rebuild which he is not looking to do, would like to add some pieces. LeBrun: Martin Brodeur, the games all-time leader in wins, raised some eyebrows on Tuesday after an interview with the Newark Star-Ledger. He said he would possibly consider waiving his no-trade clause if the Devils were out of the playoffs and GM Lou Lamoriello asked him about a trade. I spoke to Brodeur on Tuesday evening and he said "Im not even thinking about a trade and it would have to be Lamoriello coming to me and asking about it. I would nevver go to him and ask for a trade at the end of the season. Nike Air Max 95 Sale Outlet. quot; However, Brodeur would not completely rule out waiving his no-trade clause. Fighting is down 12 per cent, but fighting talk is up again after Ray Emerys actions on Friday night. The GMs meet on Tuesday and with the agenda is not yet set, is it fair to say they will be talking about that? LeBrun: Yes, theres a very good chance that will be part of the discussion on Tuesday. Its only a one-day meeting so they will not have a rule recommendation on fighting but they are going to start the discussion again because of whats transpired this season, most recently the brawl in Philadelphia last Friday. I think youll see a lot of exchange of ideas; should they ban goalie fights? Should there be an automatic suspension for a goalie going across the ice for a fight? Should the game misconduct threshold be changed within a game, instead of three fighting majors, possibly lower it to two. I think youre going to hear all sorts of ideas but its more to plant the seed for March, when the three-day GM meetings take place. Why didnt referee Francois St-Laurent step in and intervene during the Emery fight? Dreger: There was a lot of internal discussion over why he didnt step in when there was opportunity for him to and he also very clearly indicated to the Capitals players to stay back. Its easy to analyze after the fact but he couldnt rely on the linesmen, who were tied up already because of the multiple fights taking place on the ice already. What I was told was St-Laurent was sitting back saying "Im afraid the benches are going to clear if I dont manage this situation by watching the bigger picture." ' ' '
